BMG, Skint’s owners since 2014, has announced the return of label founder Damian Harris as creative director with his first move being a rebrand.

Harris helmed the hugely influential Skint imprint from 1995 until 2006 and, in that time, took the label from fledgling indy to a global dance music touchstone via the likes of Fatboy Slim, Bentley Rhythm Ace and Xpress 2.

In recent years, the label has continued its focus on modern electronic music with signings such as Maya Jane Coles, Hercules & Love Affair and PBR Streetgang all receiving critical acclaim alongside label old guard such as Dave Clarke and Fatboy Slim.
