Roland Clark - Let The Sun Shine In

Ten years on from Roland Clark’s last solo production on Skint, Time Of The Night, the legend returns with his blissfully titled, Let The Sun Shine In. With aid from two phenomenal producers, Sonny Wharton and Bubba, we give you a three track EP taking you through all corners of house music.

The Original takes notes from Roland’s life, and reconstructs the melodic gospel choir of the Deep South. Roland’s familiar euphoric voice narrates lyrics of progression, libertarianism and community.

Sonny Wharton steps up for remix one and lays down the rolling beat we know him all too well for. After being championed as Fatboy Slim’s producer of the year he’s staying true and keeping the quality high. Bubba takes the Original down a different route; slowing it down, upping the synth and laying down a deep, dirty bass.
